Whether you run or own a big or small company in today’s marketplace, is it more important to advertise or market? I’ve included the definitions to both words below to show how they differ.
Advertising: Noun
The act or practice of calling public attention to one’s product, service, need, etc., especially by paid announcements in newspapers and magazines, over radio or television, on billboards, etc.; To get more customers by advertising.
Marketing: Noun
The act of buying or selling in a market. The total of activities involved in the transfer of goods from the producer or seller to the consumer or buyer, including advertising, shipping, storing, and selling.
No matter how you interpret the above definitions, Advertising and Marketing are key elements to running a successful business. By placing an ad with CALSPro you’re doing both.
