The workshop was masterfully presented by Mark Manchester of Rezac-Meyer Attorney Service, Los Angeles. Mark brings a wealth of knowledge and over 25 years of solid experience to the workshop presentation.
We were fortunate to have new and experienced process servers, including Chad Barger CALSPro’s President, attending the workshop. Everyone partaking in the workshop left with an array of best practices, desk top resources, and a greater knowledge of process serving. Although not everyone attending the workshop took the exam (you can register for the workshop and exam separately) of the 13 attendees taking the exam, 8 earned their CCPS designation which is valid for 2 years. For those that have not attended the CCPS workshop in a while, it has changed a great deal. The workshop now includes a PowerPoint presentation and the workbook has been updated and improved. Both the workbook and the new Process Server Manual are great reference tools to keep handy at your desk or in the field.
We hope both members and non-members take advantage of this valuable training in the future and that we see you at the next CALSPro CCPS workshop in your area.
