Developing A Legislative Agenda For The Professional Photocopy Industry
Posted September 7, 2017 in Legislation
The California Association of Legal Support Professionals (CALSPro) is an association comprised of over 300 company and individual members who provide professional legal support services to the legal community. These services include process serving, photocopying, court filing, subpoena preparation, court record searches, skip tracing and private investigations.
A cornerstone of our association is our legislative program; designed to fight adverse activity and promote favorable policy. As evidenced by confusion over flat rate billing for WCAB records and ROI companies not adhering to current Evidence Code fee schedules, the photocopy legislation is long overdue for a review.
One of our goals for 2018 is to develop a legislative agenda for the professional photocopy industry and we are seeking input from the whole industry, not just our members.
We scheduled a round table discussion from 2:30 PM – 4:00 PM on Saturday, September 23rd to kick off the conversation.
NON-MEMBER PHOTOCOPIERS ALLOWED TO ATTEND AT NO CHARGE
As way to entice more professional photocopiers to join the conversation, the Board of Directors agreed to allow non-member photocopiers to attend the round table discussion and the full Saturday business and educational portions of the 49th Annual Conference at the Omni Report Rancho Law Palmas, Rancho Mirage, California AT NO CHARGE. We only ask that they pay for their meals should they decide to attend the luncheon or evening banquet.
Please spread the word about this special offer. Let your colleagues know they can be a part of shaping the future of our industry.
A Complimentary Invitation for Non-Member Professional Photocopiers is HERE. For planning purposes we ask that non-members complete this form and FAX it to CALSPro: 916.924.7323. If you have any questions you can call 916.239.4065.
We look forward to your participation at the conference. Thank you for your time and consideration.
