What is the CALSPro PAC?
Posted December 17, 2011 in Legislation, Membership
This is California Association of Legal Support Professionals Political Action Committee or CALSPro PAC. The PAC must be continually funded to enable our Association to pass helpful legislation and to fight harmful legislation. Over the last 40 years the PAC has helped promote CALSPro aggressive legislative programs that have helped shape the civil procedure and discovery process we have today. Please see our legislative history page at http://www.calspro.org/legislation/legislative-history/
The PAC fund is vitally important to all of us, as this our war chest we draw from when a battle is brewing in the Sacramento Legislature. We are always using these funds to support our cause, so please consider making a donation today.
Our PAC Fund needs donations to maintain our ability to be yours and the industry’s advocates in Sacramento. There are monthly fees for CPA’s to maintain proper accounting as well as State required reports that must be submitted regularly.
The Legislative Committee and the PAC are here to help preserve our core values and to protect our businesses and livelihoods as a vital part of the legal system.
Donations can either be made on a one-time basis or we can set up an ongoing monthly pledge. Your donations should be payable to “CALSPro PAC”, can be sent to Brett Peters Legislative Chairman or to the CALSPro Central Office addresses listed below:

The Dispute Resolution Committee (formerly Arbitration and Grievance) is here to serve the membership. We have reworked and simplified the process, but as the title indicates, our primary focus is to help members resolve differences. If someone were to ask me what I find to be the most common dispute between members, hands down my response would be non timely payment for services rendered.
